Developer Wietse Wind reminded of what Xumm was up to.

Developer Wietse Wind on twitter in response to requests from users to add something to the crypto wallet reminded of what Xumm was up to. He emphasized:

Our idea here is that Xumm should be very good at the core: key management, XRP Ledger integration, being feature complete (being able to sign all transaction types) and show users what they will be signing. We added an open platform for 3rd party tool & developer integration.

This way 3rd party developer can add all kinds of tools, wizards, apps, visualisations, trading tools, token rankings, market information, NFT viewers, minters (you name it) to Xumm. Xumm sign in & signing can be integrated on 3rd party websites, & xApps add it straight to Xumm.

He also added:

Your example (trading & market specific information on the Xumm home screen) does not belong to our idea of what the “core” of Xumm should be. It does serve a specific audience (traders), and thus it makes perfect sense for a view like you suggested to exist as an xApp.
