Many of you may have missed this tweet or not appreciated it significance: an xrpl sidechain with Hooks and XRP as the native asset is in the works.
That means the platform for Evernode to launch (we need Hooks) will soon exist! 1/5
So our team has been doing 3 things:
1. Splitting our big Hook into three separate Hooks so they are cheaper to trigger.
2. Implementing the governance game that will let Hosts vote to (1) update the Hooks and (2) to remove dud Hosts from the network.

3. Swapping out our XLS20d NFT implementation for the lighter URITokens that this new sidechain will support.
This work is ~2weeks away from being done. After that we will test our implementation on the v3 testnet. 3/5
Assuming success, we will invite our ~84 betahosts to move from v2 to v3. We are delaying this move as long as reasonable because it will involve many legacy hosts having to register domains which has been a requirement for new host for only a couple of months. 4/5
We will then run the betanet on v3 until we are ready to launch on this new sidechain. During that time we will do everything we can to help onboard devs to experiment with Evernode.
