In 2015 I believe@justmoon as@Ripple’s CTO pushed for Ripple to focus on cross border payments instead of smart contracts.@VitalikButerin who was attempting to intern at Ripple saw the opportunity and the rest is history. Cross border payments seems to be the hot topic today.

Previously Fred Rispoli said that some companies may join the lawsuit on the side of Ripple. Also Nik Bougalis reminded about the important moment of XRPL.
