Company Ripple recently committed $1M in XRP to support NGOs providing earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria. Was noted:
We are committing $1M in XRP to support NGOs providing earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria – through a relief fund on @crypto4charity_ and are donating $250k USD in XRP and will also match 2:1 all crypto donations here, up to $750k USD.
The fund supports four NGOs and donations are distributed equally. @CARE, @mercycorps, and @RESCUEorg are helping affected communities in Syria and Turkey by providing immediate cash, basic items such as household kits, dignity kits for women and girls, hygiene supplies and more.
#ChefsForTürkiye @WCKitchen and @chefjoseandres are distributing hot meals in Turkey and Syria. They work with field kitchens, local chefs and restaurants, and food trucks to feed survivors and first responders.
