MD of Europe Sendi Young revealed she was chosen as a member of the Payments Association advisory board.

MD of Europe Sendi Young recently revealed she was chosen as a member of the Payments Association advisory board. She noted:

I’m genuinely humbled to have been elected to join the @ThePAssoc Advisory Board. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. The opportunity to advocate on behalf of the UK #payments industry is one I will seize with both hands.

She also added:

Drawing on my international experience spanning corporate banking, payments tech and fintech, I will look to provide a perspective on industry trends, including the payment applications of emerging technologies and infrastructure such as #blockchain and #crypto.
Likewise I’ll advocate on behalf of the industry when it comes to evolving the UK’s regulatory framework for payments, as well as promoting diversity, and exploring ways to address the skills gaps we have.
