NFTs are «100 percent based on greater fool theory»

Wietse Wind responded to this with an investor who quoted the criticism:

Agree when it comes to speculating, buying and selling “links to an image on IPFS”. But that’s not what NFT’s are. That’s just how they are being used today. In today’s context I agree. If used for e.g. digital ownership administering of real things, his statement is incorrect.
